Job Summary:

This is a very important role within the Atrium team that requires working autonomously to clean all equipment and dishes using the 3-step process of washing, rinsing, and sanitizing. The Dishwasher must be organized to accomplish tasks with the appropriate hygiene standards and good attention to detail. They are also responsible for keeping their workstation clean and removing garbage (heavy lifting). They must act as a team player to achieve the goal of maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all cutlery, glassware, dishes, and pots are clean, sanitized, and organized in the appropriate storage areas;
• Apply efficient and safe processes in the dishwashing area;
• Ensure that the dishwashing area is cleaned on a regular basis;
• Clean the floors of the dishwashing area;
• Ensure that recycling items are placed in the appropriate areas;
• Be responsible for collecting portable dirty dishes across Head Office buildings;
• Participate actively in a multi-functional work environment;
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as service, catering deliveries, special events, replacements, meal prep, cash register handling during peak periods, etc.;
• Be responsible for garbage removal in their area;
• Observe and follow the established emergency, fire, and health & safety procedures to work in a prudent and safe manner.

Qualifications:

• Clean habits and attention to detail;
• High health and safety standards (a certificate is an asset);
• Highly organized and ability to multitask;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to lift at least 10 lbs repetitively;
• Ability to work in the day and possibly at night once in a while;
• Team player and a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and effectively as required;
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers and employees, both within and outside of Quebec;
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
