Bohan Qiu
Founder, Boh Project
The cosmopolitan publicist has helped global mega-brands gain ground in China and young Chinese designers expand across Asia.

Through his Shanghai-based communications and creative agency Boh Project, Bohan Qiu has become one of the most in-demand PR executives in the Chinese fashion capital. The firm’s client roster has included international brands like Gucci, Versace, Calvin Klein, Supreme, Mugler, and Dries Van Noten, and popular Chinese designer labels such as Rui, Windowsen, Louis Shengtao Chen and Mark Gong. As well as connecting brands with buzzy stylists and major talents across Asia, Qiu’s team shapes events, campaigns and capsule collections to help clients appeal to shoppers through locally relevant strategies and storytelling.
In 2023, Qiu co-launched Boh Korea, the firm’s Seoul-based arm responsible for communications, creative production, casting, celebrity management and branding consultancy in that market. Born and raised in Shenzhen, China, Qiu lived in Hong Kong and Canada before being scouted by a modelling agency in Paris. He worked as a fashion publicist and columnist and then joined Mr Porter’s PR team to help develop the e-tailer’s business in the Asia region before launching his own company Boh Project in 2019. Qiu has a degree in political science and journalism from the University of Hong Kong.
