Bryan Grey Yambao
Founder, bryanboy.com
The web developer turned fashion blogger was one of the first to gain global visibility in his genre for his offbeat ensembles.

Operating under the name Bryanboy, celebrity fashion and style blogger Bryan Grey Yambao is widely recognised for penning one of the most influential blogs within the fashion industry. Launched in 2004 from his parent’s home in Manila, the Philippines, Yambao was one of the first to leverage the informal media and the wide scope of the internet to forge a dedicated outlet for personal fashion expression and has been credited with pioneering the candid tone of voice employed by style bloggers, along with self-styled editorial photoshoots. In 2007, Yambao was awarded the accolade for best fashion and lifestyle blog at the Philippine Blog Awards and has since grown to a global audience.
Now boasting over 680,000 Instagram followers in 2019, Yambao attends Fashion Week events around the world, partners only with the biggest couture houses (such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Cartier and Gucci) and is widely considered to be one of the “OG” influencers, shaping the industry to what it is today.
Yambao’s international status rose in 2008 following a video post entitled Leave Marc Jacobs Alone. This caught the designer's attention, and in 2008 Marc Jacobs named his popular BB bag in honour of the Filipino blogger and Yambao has since held a prominent position in the front row of the Marc Jacobs' show at New York Fashion Week. In 2009 Yambao was also invited to sit front row at Dolce & Gabbana and has since become a staple at fashion weeks around the world. The flamboyant fashion aficionado has since featured on the panel of reality show America’s Next Top Model and is represented by IMG.
In 2019, Saga Furs hired Yambao to design a series of fur-focused capsule collections. The first five-piece collection quietly went on sale on Luisa Via Roma in April, with a more robust marketing campaign planned for autumn. A second, larger line is due for release in 2020.
Yambao now lives in Sweden with his husband.
